Banks and fintechStudent marketing for banks and fintech.
Students are choosing a bank they may keep for years. Here is how banks, fintech apps and payment brands reach them on campus, at the moment they choose.
Students choose a bank they may keep for years.
Students are choosing a bank, a card and a payments app they may keep for years. Many open their first account of their own in their first weeks of college, when they start part time work, pay rent or move into student housing.
In 2024/25, 48,485 students started higher education in Ireland, and 44,535 students came from outside Ireland (HEA Key Facts and Figures 2024/25). Many of those need an Irish account, an IBAN for rent and wages, and a way to send and receive money from home. Students spend about €1,340 a month on average (HEA, Eurostudent VIII).
That choice is made on campus, in the first weeks of term, often with friends. Being visible there, before and during Freshers', means you are already familiar when they open an app.

We plan around the dates each college and students' union sets.

One advertiser per category per city.
One advertiser per category per city for each campaign window. If you book, no competitor in your category runs with us in that city at the same time.
Our own placements include Trinity College Dublin and TU Dublin Grangegorman. Other campuses are planned campus by campus, within the rules of each campus. See Irish colleges.
Talk it through. Call or WhatsApp Philip on 087 054 9971, email hello@studentlink.ie, or use the brief form below. Tell us the product, the cities and the dates, and we will come back with a plan and a quote.
Can you work with our compliance approval process?
Yes. Artwork goes to you for approval before print, and we only print the approved version, including any regulatory wording you require.
Can you reach international students?
We plan placements near the spaces international students use, such as residences and international offices, where each campus allows it. In 2024/25, 44,535 students in Irish higher education came from outside Ireland (HEA).
Can we run a Freshers' stand as well?
Yes. Stands are booked through each students' union. We can plan stands, posters and sampling together so they support each other.
Is the category exclusive?
Yes. One advertiser per category per city for each campaign window, so no competing bank or fintech runs with us in that city at the same time.
